It contains the Bible Records of the children of JOHN WAUGH and his two wives, JANET EDGAR and MRS. HELEN MURRAY. The Bible was acquired at an estate sale at 2347 Foster N.W. in Grand Rapids, MI, on 14 November 2006. I am no relation to these people so I will not be able to answer any questions on this family other than what I have posted here. It is eBay item #180052136886. The auction runs until the evening of Sunday, November 26, 2006. He married 1st Janet EDGAR, 19 Oct 1855, in Hawick, Scotland. Janet was born 7 May 1834, the daughter of Robert & Agnes (HENDERSON) EDGAR. Janet died 30 May 1874, in Ancaster, St. Andrews Co., Ontario. John & Janet had 10 children: 1. William Edgar, b. 1 Mar 1855, Hawick, Scotland, & d. 1935 2. John WAUGH married 2nd Helen MURRAY, 24 May 1876, Walpole, Handimand Co., Ontario. She was born 27 Dec 1833, Moffat, Scotland, and d. 30 Oct 1906, Lowell, MA. I believe MURRAY was her married name. John & Helen had four children: 1. Thomas, b. 10 Oct 1875, Ancaster, Ontario, d. 30 Jul 1941, Lowell, MA. Married Jessie MURPHY. 2. Marion Bell, b. 22 May 1877, Ancaster, Ontario, d. 15 May 1937, Lowell, Edson Co., MA. Married George H. HOVEY. 3. Henry, b. 8 July 1879, Ancaster, Ontario, d. 1935 4. Helen, b. 17 Oct 1882, Byfield, MA, d. Jun 1946, Lowell, Edson Co., MA. NOTE: Many of the death dates seem to full on 1935. I have a feeling this may be someone's guesstimate.
