    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: WAUGH POWER POWERS BOGGAN DUNN PALLADINO MORGAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZYVBAEB/257.3.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi David and Marilyn! I have WAUGH connections to RI and am looking to connect with anyone from that branch. This is what I know/surmise about them; see if you can make any connections. Daniel WAUGH m. Ann(ie) POWER(S) abt. 1890s. Both from St.John's, Newfoundland or nearby. Danial born abt. 1866, Annie born abt. 1877. Moved from Newfoundland to Boston area, Massachusetts, and eventually or immediately settled in Newton/Needham area. They are buried in the Catholic cemetery their (St.Mary's?) Had several children one of whom was also named Daniel (Jr.)(Possibly also a Gertrude, Annie, George, Ruth, James and others...I forget off-hand). Daniel (Jr.) moved to RI sometime as early as 1930s(?). Immediately or afterwards in the Cumberland, RI area. He married a woman named CLARA and had children, a son Danial (III) and a daughter, CLAIRE, possibly others. Daniel and Clara are deceased, and their children are grown and likely have children of their own. Possibly Daniel (III) is also deceased. This family had cousins in Boston/Brighton. Daniel's (Sr.) brother, Joseph WAUGH m. Mary BOGGAN (sp?) and they had several children as well. Joseph died before 1930. One child was named Florence but she had several brothers and sisters, some of whom may have died as children or young adults. One of whom was a William (Bill). Florence married a man, last name, MORGAN and they had a son called "Mickey". Believe they divorced and Florence later married a "Fred" Palladino, and that couple had a son named "Fred Jr." Both Daniel, Sr., and his brother Joseph, were also brothers to a Philip. He married an Mary Elizabeth Dunn around 1900, and they were in Newton/Needham for a short while, then back to St.John's then settled in Rumford, Maine, where they are buried. This couple's oldest child was born in Needham and that was my father, John Henry WAUGH. I do not know of anyone named Warren, but I do not know much about the younger generations. If any of these names or places suggest a connection, please contact me. Thanks very much. John WAUGH (Posted to Ancestry list and emailed direct)
