On the back is an obit reading: Mrs. Fidelia D. Waugh Funeral services for Mrs. Fidelia D. Waugh, widow of Thomas Emmett Waugh, who died today at her home, 4116 Springhill Ave., will be held at 10 A.M. Friday at Morrissett's Funeral Home with interment following in Lynchburg. Mrs. Waugh was a granddaughter of William Charles Davis who was a nephew of the late George Davis, Bishop of Canterbury, England. In the maternal line she was a granddaughter of Emma Elizabeth O'Riley, a daughter of Captain Michael O'Riley, of the Revolutionary army. She was also a great-grandaughter of Cordelia Clinton, a sister of General Clinton. Mrs. Waugh is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.M. Bell, of Jacksonville, Fl., and Miss Mary Waugh, of Richmond; one son, Thomas E. Waugh, Jr., of Baltimore, Md.; also by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone? I have Davis' in the family line and I can place them in Virginia the later half of the 19th century, but I can't come up with Fidelia on a Davis Census.. . . . . .
