Someone e-mailed me that both he and Augusteen are buried in Anglin Cemetery in Hopewell, KY. They had nine children, the second of whom was William (born 1815 in Fleming, KY). I THINK John's father's name was William. I came to that conclusion and so did others (independently) who have posted on this web site. Nobody has John's mother's name, however. I found a John Waugh whose age matches up...he shows on the Hamiltonban, PA, 1860 & 1870 census as a retired farmer, living with people w/a different surname. Perhaps he returned to PA from KY after Augusteen died? Someone also e-mailed me that a Mason County, KY, restaurant bar license was held by John M. Waugh, Sr. He also ran the Ohio River ferry. I have no idea how reliable this info is, but it's interesting to read something besides birthdays & death info. The town in Mason Co. was Maysville. Other than that, I have also hit a brick wall on this family line. If you get anything, please e-mail and I'll do the same.
