He was born in New Kensington, PA around 1921. Enlisted in the US Navy November 1942 and was stationed at USS YO-121, Seattle, Washington. He was a Quartermaster Second Class and honorably discharded December 16, 1945. In 1938, he knew Mary Katherine Gaston who was born in Griffin Georgia whom I'm looking for also.
