My descent from William is as follows: William b:1742, Samuel b:1780, Samuel Abner(or Alfred)b:abt. 1814, Abner Quincy b: 1860, and my maternal grandmother Ida E Waugh b: 1889. I have established the descent of a William Waugh from Rev John as follows: Rev John b: 1630, John Jr. b: 1660, William b: 1710 and William b: 1742. I can't seem to find any documentation that shows that the two Williams b:1742 are the same person. I suspect that they are but cannot prove it. Does anyone have any information that would shed any light on this. Thanks much for any help.

Laura Claypool b. abt. 1837 m. Pinkney D. Shriner 1854 in Vinton County, Ohio. Laura Claypool and Pinkney Shriner had a daughter Leah Permilla Shriner who had a photo album with a picture of Lizzie Waugh daughter of Permilla Collins & 2nd husband James Waugh. There is also a picture of Lizzie [Elizabeth] Waugh's husband Robert Nelson. These two families resided in Clinton Township, Vinton County, Ohio in 1860 and lived within close proximity of each other. Was Permilla Collins-Claypool-Waugh more than just a friend to Pinkney Shriner & wife Laura Claypool Shriner? Any information regarding this friendship and/or relationship between these two familes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Judy

I would like more if you have it. The stuff you sent said who Allen Jones's parents were, but no other info was really sent about them. If you have more, I'd love to have it. I have very little info on Minnie's siblings. There is a woman named Joyce who I have been in contact with who sent me a picture of Flora, Minnie's youngest sister. I think she has info on Flora. I can put you in contact with her if you'd like. But, any info on Allen Jones and the family would be much appreciated. Are you the one who is charge of the USgenweb website for Barry County, Missouri?

I do see in my records that Wellwood Waugh and his sons-Thomas,William,and Wellwood Jr.-built the Willow Church in Waughs River in 1820.I just checked the burial records for the Willow Church cemetary and see that both Thomas Waugh and his wife Mary are buried there.I also have the year of 1793 that Thomas and Mary were married in Pictou,NS by Rev.James MacGregor.I hope this info is helpful.
