He is buried in Gorden Cemetery by Lake Vermilion located in Potomac, Vermilion Co., IL. He has no tombstone. He is listed in the 1880 Census in Danville, IL House #130 Blount Township Danville George W. Watts Age 55 Laborer Born VA Indiana Age 32 Wife Born IN Father-In Mother-In Cora B Age 11 Daughter Born IN Father-VA Mother-In George W. Watts Age 8 Son Born IN Father-VA Mother-IN William T. Age 6 Son Born IN Father-VA Mother-IN He was married twice : (1) Phoebe King; (2)Not sure what her name is but she went by Indiana Annie Saunders, Nancy Ann Saunders/Sanders. George's children with Phoebe: 1. Mary Jane Watts b. 1845 2. John Watts b. 1846 3. Jacob Watts b. 1847 4. Elizabeth "Betty" Watts b. 1851 5. Sarah Watts b. 1857 6. Mary Watts b. 1860 George's children with Indiana, Nancy (whatever her name is) : 1. George Washington Watts Jr. b. 1872 2. William Thomas Jefferson Watts b. 1875 3. James Arthur Garfield Watts b. 1881 4. Gertie Mayola Watts b. 1883 5.
