WATTS from the SC Book of Patriots (cont'd). Hope you find someone you recognize! David Watts -- In yesterdays posting there was a David Watts. In searching some other records, I found a David Watts in the records of the St John's Lutheran Church in Charleston. This was a predominantly German speaking church until after the civil war. The David in the church records would not be the same man who served in the rev war, but perhaps a descendant. Anyone who is researching a David Watts in the Charleston, SC area in the early to mid 1800's may contact me for that entry. *********************** ANDREW WATTS served as a private and lieutenant before and after the fall of Charleston.
