    1. [WATTS-L] ME and MA w/marriage in 1737
    2. I thought I would post my "brick wall" in case any new listers have information. My 5g grandfather, William WATTS, "appears out of nowhere" in 1737 at Falmouth, ME USA and marries Margaret McLellan. They move to Boston, MA and have 3 children (John, Samuel, and Elizabeth). Margaret is probably the daughter of Bryce McLellan and Jane who emigrated from Ballymoney in 1719. Margaret was born in transit. Margaret married second a Samuel Gilchrest after William's death. John and Samuel raised families in St.George, Knox, ME. Elizabeth died unmarried in Boston, MA. Margaret and Samuel Gilchrest also went to St. George and had a family. I have no family information for William before his marriage date. The only clue is that some genealogy entries say he came from "Northern Ireland" and "was born before 1720". I'm looking for his parents and siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
