Amanda, Dick, Joyce & Pam, There are many Watts' descendants in Columbus County, NC-Whiteville and Tabor City areas. Also there is a small town called Nakina, NC, I am told, by an older uncle, that it was once called Wattsville. I too have been researching this name for many years. They were quiet prolific.
