I am looking for a family of Watts. Thomas b 1788, Josiah b 1797, James b 1799, Daniel b, 1804, Charlotte b 1806(marr Zeno Hough), and Leodicia b 1813 all born in SC. From a note in a Hough family Bible their parents were born 1756 and 1768 but I have no names. Daniel, his wife Mary b 1823 AL were living next door to Matilda Watts b 1810 SC, Leodicia, James Benjamin Franklin Watts b 1834 AL, Richard b 1848, Alabama b 1847. I believe Matilda was married to one of the three older brothers: probably Josiah as he and Daniel purchased property on the same date in 1837 next to each other. James B.F. is my great grandfather. I have not been able to find any records in Conecuh County except census records 1850-1870. Courthouse burned a lot. If any body has these names I would appreciate any contact as I have decided the whole family was eaten by bears.
