Carolyn and Catherine, I am researching the WATTS family too and some of you names are in my WATTS family. James Watts married Mary Perkins of Maryland abt 1760. They were in Greenbrier, VA abt 1769. Their daughter Mary Watts married William Williams who was born 1757 in Fairfax, VA. Mary and William were married 1795 in Greenbrier, Va. I believe The Williams were Quakers and the Watts family was involved with the early Methodist Church in Maryland. James Watts son James Watts, Jr was a Methodist circuit preacher from 1804 until he died in 1857. I also have Boggs marying into my Williams family. I have not been able to go back any further. I was wondering if you have heard of any of these people?
