My line is Watts or Watt. I see both in family name but only list one to make family tree happy. To be honest after looking at Hogg, Houge, Hoggue, Hogan, Hogue, Ponsby, Poinsby, Pounsby, Ponsbuy ect in a line the s just sliped my mind. The spelling get worst when I hit Germans. When I first started I miss a generation because I did not look a different spelling. They are not alway the same line but sometime they are. Census takers, ect. where not always the best speller. I found my grandfather Thomas listed as Fay. His nick name was Tay. You have to look at the big picture. Kathy
