Hi Pam, I have Watts in Missouri also. William Watts was born in Maryland 1801. He married Rachel Beatty, who was born in VA, December 04, 1822 in MUSKINGUM,OH. She died in 1842. William remarried to Rebecca Vanburn September 18, 1849 in Grundy Co. Mo. Williams children by Rachel were: Mary Ann Watts m.William Carroll Gibson Louisa Barnett Watts m. Matthew Smith Gibson Lucinda Watts m. Rufus Clark Elizabeth Watts m. Joseph McLey Isaac Watts m. 1st. Sarah Almira Gibson 2nd Zelpha Jane Kennedy Matilda Watts m. James Peery He left Grundy Co and went to Taylor Co Iowa. There he married Tusy Ellen Copeland July 06, 1854. Thats the last of I know of him execpt he died February 20, 1887 in Calif.
