Jeremy, thank you for posting this website. You are right , it truly is a fascinating site. I also found the Titanic book to be very interesting. Now for more Watts information. I found my gggg (? not sure what he was) grandfather, FINALLY, in Halifax Va. His name was Daniel Watts. He married Suz White on Dec. 17, 1812 in Halifax City, Halifax Co., Va. Her parents were Hampton and Elizabeth (Mullins) White, also of Halifax. The parents of Suz, were married Dec. 5, 1788 in Halifax Co. Va., too. I was so excited! Well, all that excitement has worn off now and I want more! Has anybody ever heard of Daniel Watts of Halifax Co. Va.? Most of their children wound up in Hickman or Graves Co., Ky., where I am from. Some of their grandchildren have the name "Daniel" or "Hampton", all born about 1850 or so in Graves or Hickman Co., Ky. Thanks to all my Watts Cousins out there for any help. I have LOTS of info. about Daniel and Suz's children, (1st child , born 1812 in Halifax).
