Hello all, Thought it was time to post my WATTS headache again. :) Walter Alonzo WATTS was born in December of 1907 in Oklahoma, USA. His siblings were, that I know of, Ernest, Joseph, and Anna Lee Watts. I am told that his father was full blooded Cherokee Indian, but cannot "prove" it. My father has said that he visited this grandfather on a reservation, but that dosen't help much because I never asked him where this reservation was located, and won't be able to... I'm also seriously considering Melungeon hertitage as well..,My grandfather just did not have the features of a "totally" white man, so there must be American Indian or Melungeon ancestry in this line. Getting back to Walter's father, I am also told that he comitted murder, and at some point, probably as a result, Walter and his siblings moved to Putnam County, TN without him. Walter married Allie Mai HARP there. Supposedly his father moved to Texas around that time, where he eventually died.
