Hello ... I am Linda Gross. My maternal grandfather was James Montgomery Watt. His father was John Montgomery Watt and his mother was Agnes McCann who became Watt on marriage. Not sure this connects with you but thought I would try. Is it possible the Agnes of your line is related to the Agnes of my line? I do not know where they lived in Scotland but my grandfather was from Airshire County. I believe that is near Glasgow. Going back several generations my great great great great (?)
