Hello WATT Listers, I am happy to announce that I am you new adminsitrator. I have been a member for a few months (off and on) and have found the members helpful and kind. I'm feel certain this list will continue to be productive and focused on genealogy. How about a "Roll Call" to reestablish your interests? -- Diane Jameson WATT-admin@rootsweb.com
Hi, I have been researching my Watt line for about 4 years now. I have up till they came over to Canada, and then have drawn a blank. George Watt b 1781 Scotland marrried Jean Hill Sept 29 1807 Canongate Parish, Edinburgh, Midlothian Scot. She was born Jun 1786 and her parents were George Hill and Anne Charles. They came over to Lanark, Ontario Canada in 1821on "The David of London" He was listed as being married to a Catherine Gilmour, but this is a mistake we found through research. Some say he is the son or grandson of James Watt and Marion Ingliss, but we have been unable to find any proof.
