I am looking for information on my GGGrandfather. The information I have obtained is from my Ggrandfather's death certificate. My GGrandfather is John M. Watt and he was married (at least I assume they were married) to Adelia E. Carstens. He was born in France (no city or province given), which totally threw me for a loop, as I was expecting Scotland, and that is where I heard the family was originally from. I am not sure of a date of birth, death, or marriage, except that they were before the state of Nebraska started keeping official records. They had 2 children: John Milton Watt (my Ggrandfather) B: 1887, and James Blaine Watt, B: 1888. I went to check the 1890 census but have found that is the one that has burned up. I have recently found out there is a state census for NE in 1885, and am hoping that will provide some clues. If anyone has come across these people in their searches, or has any additional ideas of where I could check I would appreciate the information. Thanks, John Watt
