I am researching for info on the WATT family that married into my WATSON family as follows; these were 3 WATT brothers marrying 3 WATSON sisters: Lucinda Coleman WATSON m. John T. WATT, Feb 13, 1837 in Sumter Co., AL Eliza WATSON m. Joel WATT, Aug 3, 1840 in Sumter Co., AL Rebecca WATSON m. George S. WATT, Aug 25, 1842 in Sumter Co., AL I believe these were all sons of a John WATT who migrated to Alabama from South Carolina. He died in Sumter Co., AL 1844. His widow, Mary Margaret (WATT) is on the 1850 census living near her children, and with one granddaughter.
