I have come up against a brick wall in my research for my Watt ancestors. I have very little information on these people. pasted below is what I know about them in its entirety. Is there anyone out there who can help me? MARY ELIZABETH WATT was born April 19, 1850, place unknown, although she did live in Indiana, possibly at the time of her marriage. She died suddenly on March 10, 1877, age 26 yrs, 11 mo, after getting thoroughly wet in a storm, and caught pneumonia and died within three days. She marr Caleb Augustus Hopkins on June 16, 1867, (place unknown) and had three children, one of them my grandfather ROBERT ALFRED HOPKINS who was born Sept 22, 1873, Rennselaer, Indiana Mary's parents were: JAMES WATT born August 11, 1823, place unknown, marr possibly MARTHA MARION (SURNAME UNKNOWN). They lived in Indiana at one time. We know of two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Watt (mentioned above) and Martha G. Watt, no further information. There may or may not have been other children.
