Am hoping that one or more of you may be familiar with the family of David and Mary (MORRISON) HOUSTON of Rowan Co., NC. David (1718-1762 NC) and Mary (1719-1781 NC) had a dau. Jean, who is referred to in her mother's will as Jean WATSON. Might any of you know for a fact that Mary's estate packet has been searched and the identity of Jean (HOUSTON) WATSON's husband revealed? Some WATSON family researchers are most confident that Jean HOUSTON was the wife of James WATSON (1738-1802 SC), while at least one other researcher has stated that she married one David WATSON. Who married Jean HOUSTON? James, David, or still another yet unidentified WATSON? Any and all assistance in resolving this question once and for all will be most appreciated! Thank you "Cousins!"
