Mostly in Johnston County area. My GrGrGrandfather John B. Watson came to Alabama (Lawrence Co.) and my GrGrandfather George Washington Watson was born there in 1826. George went back to Johnston Co., NC to live with his Uncle Josiah Ogden Watson and attend North Carolina University. George's brother William was also born in Alabama but later moved to TX (Jefferson I believe). He was living there when George died at the age of 38 from apoplexy (stroke) because George left his estate to him. I have quite a bit more on this line if anyone is interested. Good luck, Kellie
