Does anyone have a connection to James Watson of Bertie County, North Carolina? He was there in the 1730's and 1740's. He witnessed some land transactions with a John Gray and a Thomas Whitmel. There was a John Watson there about the same time and I think he had a son named James Watson;however, I think that this James Watson might have been a brother.
