Hi, Another researcher found my Watson ancestor from the Civil War (George Washington Watson) in Johnston County, NC. I knew he lived in NC, but didn't know where in NC. He married Mary Tull and had one daughter before the war started. Here is the information on his Civil War status: George Washington Watson... State served - North Carolina,... Enlisted 25 Feb. 1862,... Enlisted rank - 3rd Lieutenant,... Age - 36,... Enlistment place - Johnston Co. NC,... Army - Confederate George Washington Watson stated at the time of his enlistment that he was a resident of Jonhston Co. NC and a farmer. He served in Company C 50th North Carolina Infantry. The other children that I know their names are: Sally, Anne, Alec or Elec or Alex, and William Franklin Watson (my GrGrandfather). Any help is GREATLY appreciated! Kellie
