This family left Arkansas (possibly White County, AR) on Jan. 1, 1900. The parents are: Zachary WATSON (b. July 1847) and Sally or Sallie WALKUP WATSON Their children are: Charles Emmet WATSON Ed and EDNA WATSON (twins) Clyde WATSON Lockie WATSON Bruce WATSON Grace WATSON (married William Rowe and lived in Little Rock, AR by 1929) Boss WATSON (died in a Durant, OK nursing home) b. 1885, d. 1973 The children above are the younger ones. Zachary was married before to a Mollie (Mary Jane) OWENS or OWEN. When my ggrandfather died, this family claimed him but his last name is WALKUP. I don't know if Sally was married before and had Fred Gordon WALKUP or if she was possibly an older sister that took care of him. I am soooo confused. I had met Edna when I was about 12, but I didn't ask questions. She was Edna PARKER by then and living in Little Rock, AR. She introduced herself as Fred's sister. Fred's relatives on his obit. are all WATSON names. Charles Emmett WATSON had a daughter named Leona PHILLIPS that lived in Durant, Oklahoma but I believe she has passed away. Anyone out there who can help me? I am so tired of finding dead ends for this family. Someone is supposed to send me the marriage cert. for Sallie and Zachary but I have forgotten their marriage date.
