I'm looking for information on the DAUGHTRY and related lines who lived in and near Quanah, Hardeman County, TX. My g-grandparents were Paul DAUGHTRY and Mattie Eula (NORTON) DAUGHTRY. Paul was born Oct 30, 1872 (possibly in Georgia), and died Feb 23, 1943 in Quanah, TX. He is buried in Chillicothe, TX. According to his death certificate, his father was Wm DAUGHTRY, and mother was Kathrin DAVIS. (I've hit a wall trying to find Paul's parents). Mattie was born Feb 3, 1875, in Arkansas, and died July 31, 1956 in Quanah, TX. She is buried in Chillicothe, TX. According to her death certificate, her father was John NORTON, and her mother's name was not known. Paul and Mattie's children were, Dan Paul (married Vivian MILLER), Horace (married Alta NEWMAN), Lona (married "Preacher" BELL), Mina Mae (married Harold CONWELL), Vestal (married Lockadee THOMPSON), Willie Ethel (female) (married Homer MCCREARY), Johnie Wade (married Ada WATSON), and 2 unknowns who died as infants.
