I am seeking info on my great-grandmother Dora [Watson] Vowel. I know she died 11 Oct 1949 (family bible), also that she was married first to a John Gilmore [my great-grandfather], then to a Mathew Vowel. She lived in Tennessee, I believe in Weakley County because my grandmother was born in Martin, Weakley Co, TN in Sept 1899. My mom in later years thought Dora's mother's name was Madera Watson, but not sure. A bible stories book was left for me as a child when she died which I still have, but my info on her is breif. She had 2 daughters [my grandmother, Liddie Mae (Gilmore) Park, and my great aunt Flora (Gilmore) Todd who lived in Morenci, AZ in 1973]. Dora had a son LeRoy Vowel with her 2nd husband Mathew J. Vowel. She had a step-son, J. Hugh Vowel, [Mathew's son by his 1st wife Nancy] who married my grandfather's sister, Lura Park. I learned some of the Vowel info from my cousin, Max Vowel who lives in Tulsa and is the youngest son of Lura & J. Hugh Vowel. What I am seeking is info on Dora such as when she was born, who her parents were & siblings were. I believe much of them were in Tennessee since I was told that is where she lived most of her life.
