Dear Everybody....... I'll be updating to a highspeed cable connection, replacing the present modem-telephone connection to the internet. This will be effective on or after 2 August 1999. I do not anticipate changing any URLs. However, if that happens, I'll give you advance notice. I'm doing this to enhance my efficiency in covering all the sites I monitor, and to enable me to update existing sites much faster. If you didn't need to know all this .... sorry .... If you did need to know .... Did I do good? Ahhh, speed. We used to marvel at getting a response from a computer in 24 hours, then 8, then 10 minutes, then 30 seconds. Now we demand instant responses.
