Bette, I am researching Watsons from Deptford, Kent, England, from around 1832 and earlier. I am especially following John Watson and Joseph W atson, who moved to the United States from Deptford in the early 1800s, but I have a fair amount on their ancestors, as well as some on their descendants who remained in England. I don't have a Daniel Watson and I don't know of any connections to Sussex, however, if this is of any assistance.
