    1. Re: Searching for Catherine WATSON late 1700's
    2. Carol Meier
    3. Hi possible Watson Cousins! Jeff and Jeannie, we have been searching for a Thomas Watson, family tradition suggests he came from England between 1780-1819, but he could be from Ireland. We think ours married a Susannah O'Sullivan (Sullivan in the US, because Ireland made emmigrants change their surname when they came ta the states.) We only have record of 3 children, Matilda Vileta b. unknown, Jeptha P. b. 7-18-1819 in Bath Co., Ky. and Samuel Redd DeKalb b. July 1835. Now Bath Co was est. in 1811 from Montgomery Co. was est. 1797 from Clark Co. was est. 1793 from Bourbon Co. and Fayette Co. (Talk about the chain of counties...) Ed, we don't have a Catherine Watson, but it could be cause we're not that far back on our Watson line yet. Any links?
