    3. While at the library today I took some notes on a few WATSON's.These were pioneers who travelled to Oregon. There is not a lot of detail here, but I'm hoping someone might still locate their migrating Watson ancestor amongst the following: WATSON, JAMES OWEN - b 1873 Jacksonville, Ore son of EDWARD B WATSON and MARY ( OWEN ) WATSON WATSON, RALPH b Zena, Oregon at homestead of grandfather SANFORD WATSON who went to Oregon in the 1840's and was the son of HENRY WATSON and JENNIE ( ELDER ) WATSON WATSON, TOM C b Lampasas, Texas 1893 June 2 he was the son of DAVID H WATSON and CATHERINE (DENSON) WATSON WATSON, DR. WILLIS H. b Latah, Washington 1888 April 13 educated in Illinois - children : WILLIS, ROBERT and KATHRYN WATSON, WILLIAM mentioned as the son of the founder of Aberdeen-Angus line of cattle. He selected cattle for W.S. LADD and Simeon REED in Oregon. WATSON, HARRY - a Postal Office was established in Watson, Oregon July 1898 and named for this person who was a local stockman. WATSON, CLAIR Built the WATSON Cabin in Douglas County, Oregon to prove his timber claim. WATSON, JAMES - In 1854 he took up a donation land claim in Douglas County, Oregon. This being at the base of a mountain which became Watson Mountain. WATSON, EDSON - b 25 MARCH 1867 - OHIO son of THOMAS M WATSON and RHODA A (JENNINGS) WATSON of PA. married CARRIE H STONER 23 December 1891 Kansas Siblings: WATSON, ELIZA WATSON, EVA ( m. Rev. P. - Mentioned as being in Oregon prior to 1870 WATSON, MARY - Arrived Oregon 1847 died at Kings Valley, Oregon 11 February 1873 at age of 64 WATSON, ROLLIE W - born Kansas 9 January 1874 Parents: CLARENCE C WATSON (Va.) and IDA E (HINCKLEY) WATSON ( Ohio) Clarence died in 1890 - Colorado. Siblings: WATSON, FRANCES E.
