Looking for those researching the Watson family name of NC and SC. Here is what little we know about my wife's father. He was born as Orville/Arville Watson in Boone, NC. He married Bell Stamey of Bevard, NC. Orville lived in Richmond, VA; Boone and Hendersonville, NC; and Spartenburg and Landrum, SC. He died in Spartenburg in July 1971 and was buried nearby in Landrum. He had at least four siblings. One sister, Elly McMasters who lived in Crane, MO and Edder, NC.
