Hi, I realize that's a broad subject heading, but I have lots of questions about WATSONS, LEONARDS, PHIL(L)IPS, and GARDNERS in Ontario and Pennsylvania. I have a lot of information about EVES through the generosity of others and web sites. I'm wondering if anyone is searching similar lines in Ontario and Pennsylvania? Does anyone know of on-line sites to search for Quakers, especially in Ontario? My specific quest is to find the parents of THOMAS PHILIPS LEONARD (1832-1918), who was born in England or Wales and came to Ontario around 1846, and who married ELIZABETH KITLEY WATSON (1832-1910). They lived in Grey County, Ontario, but I think both were from York County before they moved to Grey County. I think that the parents of Thomas Philips Leonard were SARAH PHILIPS (who I believe was from Pennsylvania) and JAMES LEONARD, who I would have thought was from Ontario but if his son was born in England or Wales, I'm not sure how he could have marreid Philips from Pennsylvania. Sarah Philips should be a daughter of EDITH EVES (1767-?) and ISAAC PHILIPS, but I'm not sure. If anyone can point me in the right direction on the web or is searching similar families, I'd be interested in corresponding. John Watson Sharp
