I'm trying to find information on my father's family. His name was Daniel Franklin Watson, Sr. (died January 18th 2002). He always told me that both his father and his grandfather we also named Daniel Franklin Watson. My father was born in Newport News, Virginia on December 15, 1928. His father worked at the naval shipyard as a Master Electrician during WWI (and possibly WWII). His mother was Mattie Lou Pace. He has two sisters (Virginia & Dorothy) who are still living but that I have no contact with. When he was a child his family also lived in Baltimore, Maryland. He said his grandfather was a cabinet maker. He could not remember the name of his grandparents or great grandparents or any other information on his mother's family. My mother remembered the names of her brothers (see below). He said his father was born in Moultrie (Colquitt County) Georgia around 1900 and that he died at the age of 62 in Baltimore just before I was born in 1962. He said his mother was born in Milledgeville (Baldwin County) Georgia and that she had three brothers: John, Otis and Will. I'm hoping someone out there might have some information and if so I'd be deeply grateful as so far I've just run into brick walls left and right with his line. Many thanks, Dan Watson
