Hi, I'm looking for Washington Watson born about 1823 in Va. I can find him in the 1850 and 1860 IND census but lose him in 1870. Find him again in 1880 in Illinios under Washington Watts. First name could be George but everything that I have found is under Washington except for the children's marriage and death certificates- they list him as George. Is any one out there looking for this man, he is my headache and has been for 3 years now. I'm looking for his parents and siblings if there are any. Why the name change- what is he hiding or from?
