I'm looking for the parents and siblings of my great-grandfather,William Henry WATSON, born in Baltimore, MD in 1829. He served in the Civil War Navy and died at the Soldier's Home in Hampton, VA. In census records he says his father was born in Virginia and his mother in Maryland, but I've searched every record I can find and nowhere are his parents names listed. When his widow, Mary Ann CORCORAN WATSON, applied for a pension from the military in 1903, one of the witnesses was a Margaret BROWN, who said she was his half-sister. That's as far as I've gotten. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone? I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks, Mary Jean Gardner
