For those of you who have been helping me find the father of my John Watson...he has been found. The last will and testament of Majour Watson, Richmond Co GA (1834) names the heirs of his deceased son John. They are Martha, Mary, Elizabeth, William (my gggrandfather), and Eleanor. Other surnames connected to this family are Nunn, Kitchens, Warren, Baskin, Perryman. Seago and Burch were witnesses. John Watson possibly had two sisters, Martha and Elizabeth. Major (or Mager) Watson received two lots in the 1827 lottery in Lee Co GA. He qualifed as a revolutionary soldier. If anyone has any info on this person concerning his service, I am very interested.
