February 3, 1813, Dau of David & Sarah, married Montgomery Smith and d. 18 Dec 1871 in Boone Co, IL. David James Watson b. January 20, 1815, recorded elsewhere as Dec 31, 1815 at Long Point, Canada as the family was on the way to settle in Southwold Township, Ontario, Canada. Son of David & Sarah. d. Dec. 31, 1882, Ontario, Canada. Married Ruth Lumley then Ester M. Ambridge. They had a son William Edwin Watson b. 1842 in Ontario, Canada. Nancy Watson b. May 29, 1818 wife of Hugh Watson above?? James Watson b. May 31st, 1820 Son of David & Sarah. d. 26 Apr 1903, Fingal, Ontario, Canada. Mary Ann Watson b. Oct 17,1821, recorded elsewhere as Nov 19, 1817, Ontario, married Mar 18, 1834 to George Willis Smith (brother to Montgomery) d. Sept 16, 1889 in Rockford, IL. Eliza Jane Watson b. March 7, 1824 George Watson b. June 26, 1845 Son of John C & Nancy Watson. John C. Watson, Jr. b. July 14, 1847 Son of John C. & Nancy Watson. James G. Watson b. March 15, 1850 Son of John C. & Nancy Watson. Nancy Watson b. August 15, 1852 Wife of John C. Watson, JR. ?? Hiram Watson b. Nov 16, 1854 Son of John C. & Nancy Watson?? Sarah's parents were David Watson b. 12 Aug 1771 d. 2 Aug 1825 at Watson's Corners, Southwold Township, Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada and buried with his wife Sarah b. 1786 d. 15 Jun 1836 (note Sarah remarried to David Palmer 19 May 1827). David's father was Hugh Watson d. 1822/23 and mother was Isabella Watson both of Madison Township, Columbia County, Penn. Also note that David had a brother William Watson also (a son was James Craig Watson the Astronomer). Sarah Watson married Peter Cruth Thomas 18 Dec 1844 at Southwold Township, Elgin Co, Ontario, Canada. Sarah was b. 9 Mar 1820 (census says PA but could have been in Ontario). She d. 4 Aug 1885 at Belvidere Township, Boone Co, IL of injuries after being thrown from her buggy leaving the farm. Sarah's siblings were: Allen Watson b. 1801 in PA d. 28 Oct 1855 in Buchanan Co, IA. He married Charity Ann Loucks and had 10 children, one was William Watson b. 1829 in Ontario, Canada. This whole family moved from Canada to Boone Co, IL early 1840's then moved to IA about 1852 from Boone Co, IL. John C. Watson (above) Hugh Watson (above) Elizabeth B. He was living in Knox Co., Ky, according to the 1860 census. In 1870 he lived in Claiborne Co., TN,Civil District 3, Pleasant. In 1880 he lived in Claiborne Co., TN, 4th District. He married Candus Whitaker in either 1836 or 1837 They had eight children: John married to Samarian Parker, Mary Jane married to a Turner, Nathaniel married to Naomi (Oma) Browning, Calvin married to Elizabeth Cupp, Matilda (possibly married to a Hamblin), Andrew Hamilton married to Sarah E. Teague, Martha married to John William Billingsley, and Sarah married 1) to Reuben Carroll and 2) William Brim. William Watson died in Whitley Co., KY, 8 Dec 1925.
