Looking for John Watson born July 17, 1848 (may have been closer to 1852) in Scotland, think in Glasgow or Ayrshire. He moved to the USA prior to 1979 when he married Mary Eleanor Barragree in Edwardsville, IL. Hugh Watson, believed to be John's brother. Born approximately 1852. He married Margaret ? (b. abt. 1852) in Scotland and had first child in Scotland. Family in 1880 census of Rhode Island. Two children also on census, Hugh S. Watson (b. abt. 1877) and Agnes Watson (b. 1880). Know Agnes later married a Norton, had a son Graham. Also Margaret and Hugh had at least one other son James H. Watson (b. abt. 1886). May have been third brother who went to New Hampshire named James Watson, born abt. 1845. My mother is the granddaughter of John J. Watson. Her father was James L. Watson. She remembers having contact with relatives in both Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Also looking for parents of John, Hugh, and James in Scotland. Father was James Watson and mother Agnes Laboudy (not positive of spelling). They never immigrated and probably both would have been born in the early 1800's.
