Ezekiel WATSON, b. about 1795 in North Carolina, possibly Wayne County; wife, Elizabeth (last name unknown), born abt 1802 in NC Children: Thomas W. WATSON, born Jan. 9, 1823, Stokes Co., NC (information from 1907 Census of Confederate Soldiers), died Nov. 27, 1922, Chilton Co., AL; married Jan. 3, 1850 Martha Jane SHAW in Newton Co., GA. The couple had 8 children all born in GA. They migrated to Chilton Co., AL about 1875 or 76. Victoria Vina WATSON, born abt 1829, NC, died before 1859, GA., married Dec. 21, 1848, Sidney B. SHAW (brother of Martha Jane who married Thomas W. WATSON) in Henry Co., GA. The couple had 1 child that I know about. James Washington WATSON, born Jul. 10, 1830, Surry Co., NC. (information from 1907 Census of Confederate Soldiers), died Apr. 14, 1912, Chilton Co., AL, married abt 1856, Matilda A. SHAW (sister of Sidney B. and Martha Jane) in GA. The couple had 7 children. John WATSON, b. abt 1832, GA. Death date is unknown. He married Elizabeth aft 1860 and before 1880. He is listed on the 1860 Newton Co., GA census without a wife and on the 1880 Floyd Co., GA census with wife Elizabeth and 2 children. Sarah Jane WATSON, b.Sep. 15, 1837, GA, died Feb. 8, 1912. Sarah never married. She is counted with her mother, Elizabeth, widow on the 1880 Rockdale Co., GA Census Mary Ann WATSON, b. abt 1838, GA, death date unknown, married Judge W. SHAW, Jan. 1, 1854, Newton Co., GA. He was killed in the Civil War. The couple had one son that I know of. Nancy J. WATSON, b. abt 1840, GA. No further information other than one census, 1850, age 10, living at home with parents, Henry Co. GA. William Jackson WATSON, b. abt 1844. The only addition information that I have is not confirmed. I find a William WATSON living in Henry Co., GA in 1880, Loves District or Town who is the right age; however I have no confirmation that this is the correct William WATSON.
