    1. WATSONs from GA to AL
    2. Valerie Wood
    3. Hi, Haven't posted in awhile; hoping this will "ring a bell" with someone on the list. I'm searching for info on brothers JAMES, WILLIAM and FLOYD WATSON. Reportedly came to Wilcox County, Alabama from GA about 1833-1840. Also supposedly had 3 or 4 sisters, names unknown. WILLIAM and FLOYD married McWHORTER sisters. The bought a tannery from an uncle of the sisters, DAVID WARDLAW, in Snow Hill, Alabama, and all 3 brothers worked doing shoemaking. Please let me know if you see a connection! A published history of Furman (Snow Hill) Alabama has these this family moving to AL from GA. The parents died, presumably before 1830. Glad to share what I have.
