    1. Af-Am Watsons in NC
    2. Is anyone researching African-American WATSONs in North Carolina? Mine are found in Edgecombe County, NC back to the 1880 census (David WATSON m. Celia KILLEBREW, parents of Lizzie -- my ggm, Lucy Ann, Harry, Jordan, others?), but I haven't yet been able to find anything earlier than this. Rumor has it that there is some Native American blood somewhere in this line, but I don't know any of the specifics on that. Any help would be fabulous! -Karen Researching: KNIGHT, WATSON, HILLIARD, KILLEBREW -- NC

I would really appreciate it.. I don't even know what his parents names were. This would be my gr-grandfather and he is doing a good job of eluding me. Thanks for your help. 3. Hi Jo: This probably will not be of much help, but my Gr-Gr-Grandfather, William Watson Sr. of Buckingham Co. Va. had a son, Powhatan P. Watson, born 6 Sep. 1797 in Buckingham Co. married Sarah F. Robinson (Born abt 1797) on or abt 1820. Their children were: Sarah A. Watson B:abt 1822, Caroline Matilda Watson, B: abt Aug. 1823, George Washington Watson B: 8 May 1829, Mariah Watson B: abt 1833, Powhatan Watson B: abt 1835, Mary Elizabeth Watson B: abt 1836, and Andrew James Watson, B: abt 1844.This family wagon-trained to Chariton Missouri about 1838-39. 3. Hello WATSON researchers, I'm trying to find the parents for my 3'rd gr grandmother Catherine WATSON who was born about 1773 probably in Md. state. I have the marr. bond for her marr. to Thomas ADAMS 1794 in Bourbon County, Ky. The bond was signed by a Ralph ADAMS who was her guardian. I suspect either her father or maybe both parents died before 1794. I have searched for orphan & guardian records but no luck finding her listed anywhere. I'm also trying to locate the parents for Thomas. Thanks in advance for your help in my search, Ed Jones New Palestine, In.

    1. Here's another set of WATSON "boards"
    2. Chris Watson
    3. Dear list: I assumed everyone knew of the WATSON GenConnect Boards on Rootsweb.com, but apparently not. Visit: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/indx/FamAssoc.html and type in WATSON. At the next screen, select WATSON from any of the seven categories: Queries, Bibles, Bios, Deeds, Obits, Pensions, Wills, and see whats there. Of course, you can type in ANY name you wish to see what else GenConnect has for you besides WATSON. Email me if you have questions. I am also the Board Manager for the WATSON GenConnect Boards as well as Listowner for WATSON-L. Happy (ancestor) Hunting, Chris

    1. George L. Watson of Ga
    2. John Marin
    3. I am looking for any information regarding GEORGE LLEWELLYN WATSON of GA. Born 23 May 1878, not quite sure if birth is in GA or ME. Died 7 Sep 1942 in Camden Co. GA. His wife was Julia Esterlee COTTLE. They had 8 children and most of them resided in GA their whole lives. I know nothing of his parents. Would love any possible hints or leads? The census' state his father was from Maine. Thanks to one and all for even reading this plea for help. Gayle [email protected]
