SInce we have just started , and have gotten more new members today (we are up to 47 now!) we may need to clarify what this list and its members can and can't do in order to help everyone best..... It is very unlikely that people on this list (including me) are going to have a way to access any specific information on births, marriages or deaths of specific people in Wateford. The reason is we would have to have access to the registers either in person or on microfilm, so unless someone would happen to have that film available to them, that is a long shot. Of course someone COULD be researching the same family, so by all means post that info. What is the best is to tell us who you are looking for, what you want to know (which so far everyone seems to be doing) but what people are leaving out is what have you already searched? What did you already do? If you have already searched say the 1901 census for info on your people, tell us that so no one recommends something you have already done. Remember that tying in to a certain place in Ireland is really tough, and will not happen overnight. This list can help you, and point you in the right directions, but you are not going to find all the info you want on the internet. I sure wish we could.... it would make my life a lot easier with my nearly impossible lines!! Keep writing those good queries and I am sure we can try and help everyone.
