New here, please be patient... I'm looking for facts from Ireland (before my information starts) on JAMES HENRY GRADY born 1822 in Ireland. He came to New Orleans, LA, U.S. in 1840 - from Taum, County Galway, Ireland. JAMES HENRY GRADY married MARY DOLLY in New Orleans, LA on 11/11/1847. MARY DOLLY born in 1828 in Ireland. She and her brother JOHN DOLLY came to New Orleans, LA, U.S. in 1844 - from Taum, County Galway, Ireland. JAMES HENRY GRADY AND MARY DOLLY GRADY then came to San Francisco California (via the Isthmus of Panama) in 1849. They had 8 children - one of which is my grandfather (JOHN HENRY GRADY) JAMES HENRY GRADY died 1874 in Virginia City, NV MARY DOLLY GRADY died in 1884 in San Francisco, CA.
