Dear Susan, It is unlikely we are related, but I am searching the Sullivan family in the Barony Coshmore & Coshbride of County Waterford. My great great grandmother, Mary Sullivan, was born somewhere in that Barony and baptised in 1799 in Tallow RC Church. I know she had a brother Michael born about 2 years previously, around 1795, obviously not your Michael. He died in the Alms House on Blackwell's Island in NYC. Mary, his sister, died on the Ship Marmion in 1853 and was buried at sea on the way to NY. John Sullivan is such a common name, but file this away somewhere anyway until you find out more about the possible location of the family's home place. Good luck, Sheila MacAvoy Block
