Besides trying to find more information on my ancestors, maybe someone can help me locate some descendants since my grandfather,GEORGE WHITMORE CARR, left IR. abt 1868 to live in Brooklyn, NY. George's father was WILLIAM PATRICK CARR, born abt 1821 in Co. Kilkenny, died abt 1861 (place unk). His children were GEORGE WHITMORE CARR( abt 1851 - 1921), born in Dublin. He married EMILY SMITHERS in 1873. Next was ANNA HAWTHORNE CARR, born 1852 in IR; then CHARLOTTE EMILY CARR, born 1853 in IR. Next, twins: ELIZABETH HAWTHORNE CARR and MARY MERIDITH CARR, born 1855 in IR.; then, EDWARD CHARLES CARR ,born 1856 in IR., and last, HENRY GREGORY DUNLOP CARR,born 1858 in Dublin.
