I am endeavouring to trace any references to this family. The various members of the family, except the eldest child, are listed in the records of the LDS Church with a note that the details had been submitted by a member of the Church after 1991. No other information is given regarding the submitter. Father: William Power, born in Waterford in 1843. William's parents were Matthew & Ellen Power. He married Anne Meany on 7th September 1868 in Waterford. After his first wife died, he married for a second time Mary Ellen Power on 4th November 1884.He died at 6 Emmet Place in Waterford on 20th May 1918. Mother: Anne Meany, born in Waterford in 1847. Her father was James Meany. She died in the Waterford Union Hospital on 1st November 1883. CHILDREN OF THIS MARRIAGE - ALL BORN IN WATERFORD. 1.. Mary Ellen Power born on 16th September 1869 and died on 14th June 1872. 2.. Matthew Power born on 15th April 1871. Married Jane Curtis on 10th April 1917. Died in Waterford on 29th June 1942. I have his complete life history. He had no children. 3.. James Power [twin of Alice] born 13th September 1873 and died on 6th October 1873. 4.. Alice Power [Alise in the LDS Church records] born on 13th September 1873 and died in March 1874. 5.. William Power born on 28th April 1875. He survived at least until the 1920s if not long beyond that date. I have no details of his life history other than family anecdotes. Does anybody recognise this family?
