Hi Jann, My connection with Waterford is through my Hamilton family, they were in Waterford from at least 1821 to 1915 and probably longer. They were all involved in music be it teaching or making instruments. I believe they were from the Olivestob Hamilton's of Edinburgh, but I have yet to find the link between my Otho Hamilton music teacher of Waterford and Otho Hamilton from the Olivestob Hamilton's who was Governor of Placentia, Newfoundland. This is why I need some kind sole to do a lookup for me as there was a death notice printed in the Waterford News on the 25th May 1917 which I think will provide the missing link.
