    3. In response to the question on the 1901 census. I called FHL help number and talked to someone who told which tapes had the parishes I was looking for. It worked out but I did have 7 tapes to go through and the two parishes, and many others, were on 6 of the tapes. I found what I was looking for on the 1911census, however I could not find the street on the 1901 film. In the LDS catalogue I worked out the D.E.D. number for Butchers Lane should be 87/39 and that it will be on film number 852435 for the 1901 census. Although I viewed the film from start to finish it became obvious there were several parishes on there, including Trinity Without. The streets also appeared to be in alphabetical order from J through to Z. I now assume I should have ordered film number 852434 which presumably has the streets starting A through to I? Just out of interest, I checked another couple of streets and found the opposite happening. Although they were on the film, they weren't listed in the D.E.D. numbers for that particular film. Am I right in now thinking that the references used in respect of the 1901 and 1911 census are not compatible with each other? Finally, I was hoping to look up a street called Ferrybank which is also in Trinity Without parish. I took this name from a marriage certificate but it isn't listed on the LDS site. Does anyone know this street or if it was known by another name? Any advice would be most welcome. Thank you. Mike --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
